Backstory: Wiki Link here~

Personality: At a glance, Pomni appears little more than a nervous wreck of a woman that would sell out anyone for the opportunity to escape what she sees as an intolerable situation. While there is truth in this assessment, she is a bit stronger than she first appears. Her default personality tends to be quiet, reserved, and high-strung. She very much does not like change and encounters any sort of problem feeling overwhelmed and put-upon. While it is unclear what her past entails, she seems to be the type of person that has had too much responsibility thrust upon her and desires nothing more than some peace and quiet. Which is impossible, because it seems like the universe seems to be especially out to get her. Perhaps due to this constant worry and fear she has a tendency to be a little jaded and pessimistic. She is definitely a “glass half empty” kind of person that would see the worst in situations. Her best and only way she has found to protect herself from a seemingly uncaring world is by being attentive and prepared to solve problems before they get worse. She is a constant worrier that tries to analyze situations and trying to find how to keep herself (and, once she warms up to them, her friends) out of trouble. As the world of Revan also follows its own rules, she would regard information that is provided with similar suspicion and caution and do what she can to survive the challenges she'd encounter. Though she may doubt the accuracy of the transmissions encouraging her to move on to Nirvana, what else she do? Best to just keep her head down and try to make it out yet another day in her crummy life.

During her time at The Amazing Digital Circus, she encountered and begrudgingly acquiesced to the whims of the digital overlord Caine. Despite his best intentions to keep the tenants of the circus happy, she sees him as disruptive and troublesome, which also exemplifies how she handles when problems come out of seeming nowhere: she panics. When in a panic state, she usually screams and run away, often making hasty decisions to try to remove herself from danger. Sometimes this urge to protect herself is so strong that she has abandoned others in the pursuit of saving herself (although admittedly that was a uniquely terrible first day). This also showcases that she has an unfortunate tendency to jump to conclusions, which, at best, wastes time looking for solutions that ignores facts and reality or, at worst, could potentially result in her cracking under pressure and bailing on people to save her own skin.

While that quality can be problematic, her attentiveness and vigilance does have its strengths. By constantly paying attention to those around her, she has a pretty good idea of what people are like and what makes them tick. Sure, her caution does have her think that they are also trying to deceive and/or hurt her, but she has also learned to appreciate some of the qualities of the people within the circus during her short time there. Specifically, she holds people who are sincere, considerate, thoughtful, quiet, insightful, and loyal very highly. Similarly, she dislikes and actively avoids people who are callous, deceptive, two-faced, rowdy, obnoxious, disruptive, and pushy. She also is mindful and considerate to the people that she likes and tries to look out for them in the small ways that she can. Another strength she has is she is surprisingly technically skilled with computers, software, and pop culture, identifying different gameplay elements and recognizing that the events in the circus are little more than "LARPing," or recognizing that a clipping bug accidentally propelled her off a game’s map and into an out-of-bounds zone.

One thing that she does have difficulty with and regrets doing is allowing other people who are weak and helpless feel the same way she often feels. When she encountered an NPC character having an existential crisis, she did what she could to reach out to him and try to impress on him that she at least understood. When pressed why she would even care for someone that recognized himself as “an obstacle to be overcome and forgotten,” her response was a simple, “I don’t want anyone to feel like they are worthless.” Though she herself does not identify herself as strong, she would also do what small things she can do to help out the people around her if for no other reason to recognize that they do not have to face difficulty and adversity on their own.

Despite her cowardice and panic, Pomni has shown time and again that she is someone is compassionate and caring to the people that she likes. Much like another cowardly dog, she also possesses the ability to move forward and face terrifying situations that has no hope and that she cannot escape from. She has started to discover the quiet joy in those small moments and is beginning to recognize that it is only through appreciating the small graces within the calamity that she can move through the worst of circumstances. True, she may often forget this in the heat of the moment, but sometimes the best you can do is try to keep going.

Powers/Abilities:
Ability: Digital Body: As a mental construct trapped in a digital world, Pomni's body is a digital avatar. This means that she does not need to eat, sleep, and breathe, and physical damage is something that is quickly recoverable. While this may appear as though she is invulnerable, this is far from the truth. While her body doesn't need those things, she still FEELS the need to eat, sleep, breathe, and feels pain when she's hurt. Her mind is still her own and is very vulnerable. Her mental state is necessary to maintain her physical form. If she ever gets overwhelmed and loses the will to keep going, or if she gets stressed beyond her ability to cope, her body abstracts, becoming a hulking, raging monstrosity with multiple eyes that have lost all sense and semblance of the person she once was. Thus, she still needs to continue living as though this is her real body, as dissociation is very dangerous for her indeed. Her body is also not the same as her original, human self, which means that any changes that occur due to monster transformation would definitely be the moon having an unalterable effect on her digital avatar form.

Also note: because her body is still connected to the digital circus, she cannot legally swear and it is replaced with . This censor is also met with a cartoonish sound effect of some variety.

Double note: if this seems to OP, please let me know and I can make adjustments.

Ability: Cartoon Body: While it is unclear the full limits of this ability, Pomni's body also appears to follow the laws of cartoon physics. When she is sick she vomits copious amounts of black tar-like liquid, she can pull and stretch her limbs and her face to absurd lengths, and the eyes in her sockets can pop out to only be connected by elongated eye stalks. For the most part, she does not appear to be in complete control of this ability and has only been shown to be able to stretch her body as a consequence of things in the environment pulling on her rather than the ability to spontaneously elongate her limbs or face, or if a shocking moment causes her eyes to literally pop out of their sockets.

Ability: Inventory Slots: Being a digital avatar that is tied to a video game, Pomni has the ability to have her own inventory space. She can hold on to a small amount of items on her person without it having to appear on her person. As the game she is seems to be one of those old Nintendo 64 games, my best guess is she could probably only hold about 6 to 8 small-to-medium items on her person.

Skill: Tech Knowledge: Pomni has shown to know a good amount of computer coding and computer game systems. Her tech knowledge appears to be a bit above average and she demonstrates a good understanding of networks, glitches, computer and phone hardware. She's not a tech genius, but she is tech knowledgeable..

Skill: Video Games: Pomni has also shown knowledge of how video games work and what sort of tasks are expected and needed to succeed in them. This knowledge does not directly translate as well when playing as the avatar, but she has good pattern recognition and very familiar with story tropes and themes.

Inventory: A key to her room. An extra jester cap (which doesn't make sense to have as her hat does not come off her model).

Game Plans: Pomni I see is one of those types of characters that seems to work really well off of each other and help provide a springboard for good character discussion and interaction. She's pretty level-headed (when she's not in a state of panic) and can be a good springboard for other characters to communicate with while also calling out the bold and adventurous for doing something that might get themselves killed. While she's not the most exciting and dynamic character and will not be participating in any fighting, she still provides a good source of support and will try to find ways to make herself useful on the road to Nirvana.

The game itself is very strongly structured like her a game from her in-universe world. In the test drive meme she has already come to terms that she is back in -a- reality, and has to uncover for herself what it means that she is still in her digital avatar form despite being in the real world. The monster transformations would further add to this confusion, as she would be unsure what to make of the mysterious moon energies and how it could alter something that is inorganic and, in many ways, not real. This would further add to the mystery of the location and perhaps also make her curious to discover more of what this energies of this world mean for herself and her predicament.

I also see her having a fondness and a desire to protect people; especially the kids that are younger and less prepared than she is. I would also like to see her have the opportunity to interact with other adults as well, as it would be good for her mental to interact with others that are closer to her physical age.

Monster Choice:
1) Elemental (Slime or Lightning) - Her body is pretty much elementally-derived now. Slime would be closer to what being an abstraction, which would be have it's own set of ramifications.
2) Celestial (Unicorn with some Angel themes) - Also related to the above abstraction, also what would Pomni be without her iconic unicorn horn?
3) Swarm - Computer bug. Some jokes explain themselves.

Vehicle Choice: A Peel P50 that is Spacious. A tiny clown car that has the ability to carry lots of people? Yes, please!
